If you're a driver whose car is always messy, you may want to stay away from England. Recently, a driver there was pulled over by an officer and fined because there was so much litter in his vehicle.

This all happened in Buckinghamshire, just outside of London reports the BBC. A Thames Valley Police Officer said he noticed a lot of trash in the man's vehicle and decided to pull him over.
The police officer issued the man a fine. The driver also received some points on his license, but his bad luck didn't end there. The officer actually arrested the driver for another incident. However, police didn't release any other details on that matter.

The Thames Valley Police Department posted a photo of the inside of the man's vehicle. It was filled with wrappings from several fast food restaurants. Police say it was necessary to fine him because there was so much trash, it was deemed dangerous for the man to drive.
The papers were built up so high, they could have restricted the man from reaching the pedals.

Some may think it is extreme, but driving laws in the U.K. are pretty severe. A person could also be fined for using a mobile device to pay for food while at a drive-thru window. According to the Metro, drivers can face a fine of 1,000 Euros and can get six points on their license.

So what do you think? Are driving laws too strict in the U.K.? Or are officers just doing their job? Also, you may want to pass this along to any of your friends who keep messy cars. You just may save them on their next trip to England.
