Dreamy ‘Idol’ Contestant Sweeps Judges Off Their Feet With ‘In Case You Didn’t Know’

"American Idol" has returned to our screens finally and it looks bigger and better than ever! This time around we have judges Katy Perry, Lionel Ritchie and Luke Bryan. In the past, "Idol" was often a springboard for future country stars, and it seems the reboot is no different.

Trevor Holmes is a country star on the rise. As he walked into the judging room, you could see Katy Perry's eyes light up. He is a country singer with a heart, choosing to work in construction so that he can take care of his sick Mom.

It's clear he has all the external markings of a great singer, but the question remains...does he have the voice? As you can see, the judges were waiting with baited breath to see if Trevor can live up to the expectation he built up while talking to the judges.
