Alex Trebek was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer earlier this year and has been struggling with cancer as well as chemo. Dr. Oz commented on his reactions.

“He’s struggling with the different forms of chemotherapy that are being offered to him but I told him, and I do believe this, he’s a soulful man who’s always been optimistic about life — keep his confidence,” he said. “The longer he stays alive, the better able we are to catch up to his pancreatic cancer.”

The beloved 79-year-old ‘Jeopardy!’ host recently opened up to CTV, saying he’s not afraid of death because he has had a good, full, life. He also added that he would be hosting the show as long as possible.
