If you’re like most people, you treat your pets like you would any other member of your family. This means helping them through the various stages of their life, regardless of the struggles that it brings.

And because dogs and cats can develop health conditions just like humans, this means taking care of them and nursing them back to health through the hard times. Even though you may not think that dogs can develop conditions like arthritis, older dogs and large breeds of canines actually get these illnesses quite often. But how do owners manage their dog’s pain? Obviously, pet owners don’t want to see their animals suffer. This means that they’ll do anything if it means their pets can have an easier life. Well, one dog owner came up with the most creative and inventive method to solve her dog’s health problems!

Pia Helms, a resident of Denmark, is the owner of an English bulldog named Aase. The dog was diagnosed with arthritis when he was just a small puppy. She has difficulty using the stairs in her home without assistance, but thanks to Pia, she now has a solution that is too adorable for words! Years ago in 2015, Pia enlisted the help of her friend Lars Trillingsgaard to build her a device that makes using the stairs more comfortable: her own chairlift! Now, all Aase has to do to use the stairs is hop into the device, which happens to be shaped like an adorable red double-decker bus from London!

Thankfully, Pia recorded a cute moment in which her dog uses the device to maneuver around the stairs. Now, the video is going viral after it was posted on Facebook because of how creative and adorable the chairlift is! The device was made using a motor that was implemented under the stairs. Then, the cart is pulled along a wire. It even unfolds and creates a ramp for the precious pooch to climb out onto when she reaches her desired location in the house! It’s refreshing to see a pet owner care enough about their animal to want to make their life easier.
