In the season finale of "Dog's Most Wanted," Duane 'Dog' Chapman or better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter opened up about having suicidal thoughts after his wife Beth Chapman passed away. The cameras captured the raw moment Dog told the cameras he was thinking about taking pain pills.

According to TMZ, less than 12 hours after Beth Chapman passed away Dog turned to the cameras and revealed the insurmountable pain he was going through.

He spoke about taking pain killers adding, "I feel like if I did something to myself right now and passed away, suicidal, and I got to heaven, I'd go, 'Hi, honey!' and she'd be like, would she go, 'You dumb a**, why did you do that?' or would she go, 'Wow, you're here!'"

This season of "Dog's Most Wanted" has been an emotional roller coaster as Dog's late wife Beth was still alive when filming for the season. However, in late June of this year, Beth tragically passed away after her two-year battle with throat cancer. The death came unexpectedly and as a shock to the family.

“No, you're never, ever prepared. You can't prepare," Dog told Entertainment Tonight. "There is no way. I did not know that this was going to happen that day."

On the season finale, Dog expressed how he felt losing his wife and co-star saying:

"I just hope that I don't live very much longer without her."

Sources close to the Chapman family told TMZ Dog watched the emotional episode with his family members and got some closure from it. Also adding that having the bounty hunter watch himself contemplate suicide gave him inspiration to help others during their darkest moments and to seek help in knowing that pain becomes manageable over time.
