Duane Chapman is the star of the popular television series Dog the Bounty Hunter. He has been very vocal recently about his wife Beth's struggles with stage four lung cancer. Despite her recent diagnosis, Beth has remained positive and strong.

In an interview with the DailyMailTV, Duane opened up about his fears and struggles with his wife's diagnosis. The 66-year-old said that his wife was fighting hard against the disease, although the fear of losing her has caused him a great deal of pain.

"My baby has cancer and she is fighting like hell. I have cried a lot over this because Beth is my everything." he said

Unfortunately, this is not Beth's first experience fighting against this painful and horrible disease. She publicly revealed her diagnosis of stage 2 throat cancer in September of 2017. She had to undergo surgery to take out a sizeable tumor that had developed on her throat. Chemotherapy treatments quickly followed the operation.

A few months later, the Chapmans were excited to reveal that Beth was cancer-free. A&E ran a special entitled "Dog & Beth: Fight of Their Lives." In this special, Duane commented that the healing appeared to be a miracle from God.

Unfortunately, Beth went from being cancer-free to battling the illness once again. The cancer has since spread to her lungs. According to Duane, Beth's body did not take the chemotherapy well in 2017. The couple decided to forgo the same treatment for the most recent diagnosis.

Duane commented that the decision to refuse chemotherapy was one of the hardest difficulties that he has ever had to overcome. In the interview with the Daily Mail, Duane made it clear that he would do everything in his power to keep Beth alive. According to Duane, Beth is his bodyguard and rock.

"I think I’m in a bad dream and I need to wake up." Dog told In Touch.

Despite the harsh realities that could unfold, Beth's determination to beat the cancer is stronger than ever. Duane is constantly impressed by his wife's courage. He jokingly commented that he would be acting like "a big sissy" if he were in the same situation.

Although Beth has displayed unwavering bravery in the face of her difficult diagnosis, she has talked with Duane about her potential last few days. She made it clear how she would wish to spend those last days if that ultimate time comes.

"She has told me repeatedly that if these are her last days on earth she wants to spend every moment with me on the hunt, living life to the fullest and enjoying the time we have left together." Duane said.

Duane and Beth have been supporting each other through the good and bad times for several decades.
