Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman announced the details of his wife, Beth Chapman’s memorial service in Colorado. After paying tribute with a traditional Hawaiian ceremony in Waikiki, the Chapman family will now go to Colorado to host the second service in honor of Beth.

The moving ceremony that took place in Fort DeRussy Beach this past Saturday included a performance of the traditional Hawaiian “oli” chant as per Beth’s request prior to her passing. The ‘oli’ chant is used to make announcements such as not only the death of someone, but also births, weddings, and other occasions. Attendees of the service did a ‘paddle out’ in the ocean to spread flowers in tribute of Beth’s life. According to TMZ, Beth requested she be memorialized in Hawaii in true Hawaiian style.
