Dog The Bounty Hunter Hasn't Fulfilled Beth Chapman's Final Wishes

Dog the Bounty Hunter has recently revealed that his late wife Beth Chapman left behind several final requests, but he still has not fulfilled one very important one.

The doting husband was wife to Beth Chapman, and was also her co-star on their reality TV shows following the Chapman family of bounty hunters. He stood by her side as she struggled with throat cancer all the way to her tragic passing on June 26 at the age of 51.

Dog presided over her paddle-out memorial service in Hawaii where family, friends, and fans gathered to honor her legacy, and will do the same at her funeral in Colorado tomorrow, July 13. While he was a rock during the memorial and organized everything he needed to for the funeral service, he can’t bear to be apart from her ashes.

In a heartbreaking interview with ET, Dog reveals that Beth requested that some of her cremated ashes be kept on the fireplace, some saved for when Dog goes to heaven and can be with her again, and some to be scattered.

He describes the everyday burdens he has to go through while still being in the same habit cycle that he was in while she was alive. He still hasn’t processed that she’s gone and can’t bring himself to scatter her remains.

"You know, I was going to do all the scattering, and then I looked at it and thought, 'I'm not gonna throw you, like, away,” he told ET. “I'm just gonna throw you away and start over?' I can't do that.”

For now, Dog keeps her ashes by his bed so that he can see her every time he wakes up. But in the end, he knows that this behavior is probably not healthy. Dog has a saving grace in the upcoming “Dog’s Most Wanted” TV show where he can watch scenes with Beth and says that he has “her alive in that show.”
