Dog the Bounty Hunter, whose real name is Duane Chapman, is the star of A&E's "Dog the Bounty Hunter," which aired from 2004 to 2012. Duane rose to fame with the series, with his late wife Beth Chapman appearing by his side on his eponymous show. Sadly, Beth passed away in June 2019 after a battle with throat cancer, which was diagnosed at stage four in Sep. 2017. But although Beth is gone, Duane, as well as Beth's daughter Cecily Chapman, continue to honor her in various ways.

Following Beth's death, initially stated that he would never remarry and that there would never be a new Mrs. Chapman in his life. However, he was later found to have been involved with Moon Angell, who was not only his assistant but Beth's friend as well. Although the relationship didn't last very long, Cecily was still hurt and shocked by the revelation.

But the relationship didn't last and Duane found love once again, this time to a woman named Francie Frane, who was a widow like himself. After forming a friendship, a romance quickly followed that led the couple, Frane, 51, and Duane, 68 to become engaged in 2020.

After delays due to the pandemic, the couple's wedding is finally here, and Duane revealed details about the September ceremony on a recent episode of the Two Guys From Hollywood podcast. Among the details, the bounty hunter revealed the couple has their venue picked out, while on a deeper note, he discussed how his faith led him to remarry.

On the episode of the Two Guys From Hollywood podcast, Duane stated:

“I’m getting married. We went to the venue, picked it out yesterday, looked at it. Man, it costs a lot to get married.”

He also revealed that the couple's exact wedding date is Sep. 2. One aspect of his and Frane's relationship that helped bring them closer is that they're both widowers. On the podcast, Duane explained how his faith led him to realize that he and Frane deserved to find love again:

“Francie’s husband passed away over three years ago, Beth passed away over two years ago, and I felt very bad about even wanting to have someone else after Beth. And then when I went to the Bible, the Genesis, and found out how Adam got Eve, as I was going to find the exact story, I saw the scripture that says, ‘God does not want a man to be alone.’ He knows we need a companion, whether we’re a man or a woman."

It's true that the couple seems perfect together, and what they've gone through individually is also something that helps bring them even closer. Duane told TMZ back in 2020:

“With Francie, I’m allowed to speak about Beth. I talk about Bob, who was her husband that passed, and we cry and we hold each other.”

It seems like the duo has built a strong foundation for their union and Duane even told Us Weekly as much. Speaking with the publication earlier this month, he stated, “This isn’t just a wedding ceremony, it’s going to be a marriage," before adding:

“I knew Francie was the one almost straight away, and we’re both looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.”

All the best to the couple for their September nuptials!
