Dog Recognizes Late Owner’s Scent In Old Clothes After 6 Years And Refuses To Stop Snuggling

Paquito is a cute little dog that hails from Mexico and has caused a major storm all over social media. Everyone loved the little dog after seeing the incredible love and loyalty he had for his late owner.

Paquito had been very close to Castro’s uncle, who died in 2012. Evlyn Castro, a family member who had taken in the little dog, took a video in September 2018. In it, you can see the little dog snuggling deep down into the uncle’s clothing. Evlyn had carefully laid them out on the floor to dry after they ended up wet from the rain.

Castro's uncle brought Paquito everywhere with him. The pair were extremely attached. So attached that the dog was still in mourning for his owner six years after he passed away. He really missed his owner and you can clearly see that this is true.

Castro uploaded the videos that show Paquito cuddling close with the pile of clothes. It looks as though the dog does not want to part with anything that his owner once had. He keeps sniffing the clothes while he remembers the scent of his owner. We bet he keeps thinking about the time he spent with his owner. The scent lingered on in the clothes, and Paquito definitely remembers it!

Paquito ran over to the clothes as soon as Castro brought them in to dry. He didn’t want to leave the clothes at all.

Castro’s tweet was well-received all over the world. Over 19,000 people reacted to the tweet, saying that they were brought to tears over it. Others said that they “heard something break” and that they believed it was “their heart.” So many people were truly amazed at how loving this adorable dog is!

Castro wanted to remind everyone who watched the video that Paquito is still a very loved and spoiled dog. She said that they always give him everything that he needs. He has a loyal and loving family who is always there for him, no matter what.
