Dog Passes Away 15 Minutes After His 25-Year-Old Owner Loses Sad Battle Against Cancer

Any dog owners know that the bond between a person and their pooch is one of the strongest forces in the world. When an owner loses their dog, they can be as devastated as if they lost a family member. When a dog loses their owner, sometimes they completely lose their spirit.

Stuart Hutchison was a 25-year-old man from the UK who was known to be extremely loving, kind and compassionate. He was a hardcore animal lover who had three beloved dogs. Tragically, this beautiful young man was struggling with an inoperable brain tumor. After eight years of chemotherapy and treatment, Stuart finally succumbed to his illness, People reports.

While Stuart loved all of his dogs, he had a particularly special bond with his French bulldog, Nero. The two of them were absolutely inseparable. 15 minutes after Stuart passed away from his illness, Nero followed suit.

"Nero was the dog which was always with him," said Stuart's mom Fiona Conaghan in People.

Stuart and Nero leave behind people and pups who loved them very much. Stuart is survived by his wife Danielle, to whom he'd only been wed for one year at the time of his tragic passing. The couple's other two dogs are Nala and Amelia, Nero's companion and their puppy, respectively.

Stuart is also survived by his mother, 52-year-old Fiona Conaghan, who'd been caring for her son full-time in the months leading up to his death. Fiona said that although they knew the end was near, the pain of losing her son still hurt reported People.

Nero was only two-years-old when he passed. Although he'd recently dealt with a health issue related to his spine, he'd mostly been in good health. This has led some of Stuart and Danielle's friends and family members to speculate that perhaps it wasn't a physical illness that killed Nero. Perhaps he just didn't want to carry on without his best friend.

While none of us can know what's in store for us beyond this life, we'd like to think that Nero and Stuart are reunited and together again.

This story proves that the bond between people and pets can be just as strong as the bonds humans form with another.
