Dog Howls Along To Hit Queen Song 'We Are The Champions'

Feb 13, 2019 by apost team

Dogs are known for their ability to learn words in whatever language their owner speaks. Research has shown that dogs understand around 100 to 200 words and commands. Some dogs seem like they understand the nuances of words, too. A dog might seem like it is howling along when a person cries or sings. This is the case with a dog named Lola. This dog was traveling with her owner, Annie Aul, from Montgomery, Alabama to Miami, Florida.

Everybody Loves Queen

Queen's music is known around the world. With outstanding rock ballads and stadium rock such as "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions", almost everyone knows the words to at least one Queen song.

These classic rock songs have stood the test of time.

Although many of Queen's songs are 30 to 45 years old, they are still hits with many people.

Freddie Mercury Is No Match for Lola

Freddie Mercury's voice resonates with people. As Queen's lead singer, he had an unmatched voice. He also sang on his own, releasing several solo albums between Queen records. Freddie's voice in "We Are the Champions" ranges from high notes to deep, resonating low tones.

Rumor has it that Freddie had a four-octave range, which is likely thanks to the four extra teeth he had. Those teeth are what gave him his famous overbite. Dogs are able to hear a wider acoustic range than people, and Lola seems to have a deep appreciation for the incredible vocal talents of Freddie Mercury.

Lola Goes Viral

Annie recorded herself lip syncing to "We Are the Champions." She didn't make a sound, but Lola did! Lola howled along on the high and middle notes and took a breather during the low tones. Right on cue, Lola seemed to know when to sing and show off all of her doggy talents.

Annie posted the video so that everybody could see her dog's appreciation for Queen. Just don't tell Lola that Freddie preferred cats. He had several and wrote songs about them, including "Delilah."
