Dog Gives Adorable Puppy Lesson On Using Doggy Door

Two Jacksonville dogs were are seen here working out the mechanics of a doggie door. The puppy really wanted in, but he just couldn't work out which part of the glass moved and which part was solid, so he could see inside but he couldn't get there.

Luckily, the tiny brown pup had a guide and friend in a beautiful white-pawed leader. We can see the adult dog turning to the camera holder as though asking for assistance, or at least a little patience.

After a couple of demonstrations of how to push the flap open, the grown dog decides to get a big more direct. She nuzzles the pup around the screen door post and guides the pup to the flap.

The puppy lets natural curiosity flow, poking her head through the opening and soon following with her body. Thanks to the naturally flexible nature of puppies, even though the bottom of the doggy door opening was high for the pup, the little one made it back into the house.

During this poking, crawling and tummy-scraping process, the older dog looked on like a parent who'd taken off the training wheels and was able to let go of the back of the bicycle. In her stance, we can see a sense of "Finally!"

In this video, we see some of the best methods of teaching. Demonstrating or leading by example occurred when the older dog repeatedly passed through the doggie door.

A bit of guidance and direction went on when the older dog nuzzled the pet toward the doggie door and away from the impenetrable window. Finally, observation is seen in the stance of the adult dog as she watches the pup make it through the door.

Life can be hard when you're little. For many animals, (and people) a glass door or window can cause confusion. Many of us have seen someone walk into a closed glass door. If you can see what you want but you can't get there, what can you do? With a good friend, you can figure it out. If this teaching video made you smile, please pass it along to your friends.
