Fans of the hit reality television show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" are saddened by the news that Beth Chapman's throat cancer has returned.

The star of the popular show recently underwent emergency surgery at a Los Angeles hospital to remove the tumor from her throat. This is not Beth's first battle with cancer. The 51-year-old underwent treatment for throat cancer in 2017. This past treatment included a lengthy 13-hour surgery.

After nearly one year of being declared cancer free, her family was devastated to learn that the cancer had returned with a vengeance. The reoccurrence of the cancer was confirmed by Andrew Brettler, Beth's lawyer.

Now that the news has sunk in, Beth's family is speaking out about the tragic development. Beth's husband, Dog, confirmed that Beth is not doing well and asked her fans to please keep her in their prayers as she fights this uphill battle.

Dog also spoke with "Us" magazine about the recent surgery and prognosis. The lump that was removed was twice the size of the previous lump. In order for Beth to be able to breathe and talk clearly, a hole had to be cut in her throat. Dog let fans know that although most of the cancer had been removed, doctors are still concerned that it might have spread to other regions of the body.

A biopsy will need to be done to get a full picture of the prognosis and treatment options.

Through it all, it is clear that Dog and Beth's love is as strong as ever. The famously affectionate couple shows no signs of slowing down, as Dog continues to stand by her side and support her as she battles this monster once again.

The best thing that we can do now as fans of the Chapmans is to help spread the word about Beth's precarious condition. By letting your friends and family know about the latest in Beth's struggles, you can encourage as many people as possible to pray for her complete recovery. You can make a difference for Beth by praying and encouraging others to do the same.
