A crazy canine calamity just went down in South East England! Thanks to one resident pooch's mischievous microwave mismanagement, the Essex Fire Service had to extinguish a house fire on Kingsman Road. Here's all you need to know about this pupper's scary blaze.

While unaccompanied in his Stanford-le-Hope abode, the humble Husky in question apparently had a hankering for some dinner rolls. Naturally, he did what any dog would do in this situation: he nonchalantly strolled into the kitchen and started the microwave that already had the bread inside.

Consequently, plumes of smoke soon started to fill the building; the dog had managed to put himself in peril. Fortunately, the pet owner was instantly notified of the fire alarms via a mobile phone security app, reports ABC News.

Thankfully, safety officials were able to arrive on the scene almost immediately. Their fast reaction stemmed from the homeowner's capacity to stream the fire via a live video feed. According to Corringham Fire Station Supervisor Geoff Wheal, firefighters detected the smoke's source and rapidly contained the flames to prevent spreading.

Luckily, the bumbling British beast appears to have survived this inferno unscathed. In Wheal's own words, in a statement on the Essex Fire & County Rescue Service website, the entire affair constituted a "very strange incident."

Presumably, the dog's name is being withheld from publication due to privacy concerns; however, some reports plainly state that the animal was simply nameless from the get-go. All we know at this point is that he was a very hungry Husky who is lucky to be alive. Still, it's fair to assume the clumsy canine wasn't expecting this much of a fuss when he decided on a whim to cook some doggie biscuits.

One key lesson to take away from this nearly disastrous ordeal is the importance of proper pet ownership and kitchen management. Animals should never be capable of reaching hazardous electronics, and items should never be stored in the microwave when it's not in use, advises the Essex Fire Service. In conjunction, you could conjure up the perfect storm like our Husky anti-hero did.

Overall, this frightening incident proves that everyone should have preemptive security software on their mobile devices. By downloading helpful surveillance apps, you might just mitigate the next potential canine catastrophe!
