It is hard not to get teary when watching a military homecoming video. This story is no exception so make sure that you have your tissues handy before you click the play button!

Sgt. Mason Miller was sent to Afghanistan for an entire year for his job as a US Army Reserve military police soldier. When Miller got the notice that he was scheduled to return home two weeks earlier than scheduled, he decided to keep the plan to himself so that he could surprise his sweet family.

Miller knew that he would need help in pulling off the surprise homecoming. This is when he enlisted the help of neighbor and friend Sean MacTira. As a former federal agent and military veteran, MacTira was the perfect accomplice. Although MacTira conceded that it was hard to keep the secret, he was more than happy to help out.

MacTira even was the one who picked up Miller from the base as the soldiers all arrived home. MacTira said the relief in the air was apparent as families were all reunited with their loved ones.

The pair then drove to Miller's father's office at the Mayo Clinic to deliver the first surprise.

The physician was in his office meeting with two pharmaceutical reps when the two arrived. After motioning to Bernie Miller's secretary to stay quiet, the two men knocked on Dr. Miller's office door. You have to see his face when he opens the door to see his son standing there!

Even the pharmaceutical reps recognized the emotion of the situation as they thanked Miller for his service and then left the father and son to celebrate. The surprises were not over yet! After seeing his father, Miller then went to visit his sister's office in another touching moment.

Last but not least, Miller stopped by the school that his mother teaches at for one last surprise.

Who does not love a heartwarming story like this? After you have watched the tearful reunion, be sure to spread the joy to everyone that you know. We all need to do our best to support the troops and tell them how much we care.
