A red fox named Dixie interrupted a woman's video when it stole her phone, ran away while it was still recording, and tried to bury it.

Dixie is a red fox affectionately nicknamed as Dixiedo. According to SAVEAFOX Rescue's Facebook page, Dixie is a very loud fox who is affectionate and friendly but also very skittish. She is trained to sit, high-five, speak, and spin. She loves learning and with a lot of work could learn many more tricks. She also loves fresh fruit.

Recently, the people at the organization found out that she knows another trick: swiping. One of the volunteers at the organization put her phone down on the ground to film a video when Dixiedo stole it and ran away while it was still recording.

This is what the original poster said on Reddit:

"The vid is incredibly dense with a lot of stuff going on and foxes are cool so that's pretty cool and we get to watch it steal a phone."

Within moments, in spite of the warnings from the human to not take the phone, the creature has the device in her mouth and is running away. The resulting footage is hilarious. One viewer wrote in a hilarious reply: "Swiper when Dora doesn’t say: 'Swiper no swiping'."

According to SAVEAFOX Rescue's youtube channel, it is the largest fox rescue in the USA. The organization pledges to make the most space for the foxes to "feel wild."

They rescue foxes from fur farms and take in pet surrenders. All these foxes were born in captivity and could never be released and their job is to give them a happy life. Although they specialize in foxes, they also rescue mink and other surrendered exotics.

Who knew that foxes were also swipers in real life? Pass this along to your friends and family to put a smile on their face.
