Divorced Woman Wanting Fresh Start Gets Stunning Makeover

For this woman, a big change was needed in her life. After her kids all left the nest and having been divorced, she came to Christopher Hopkins a.k.a The Makeover Guy to start afresh and gave him free rein in what he wanted to do with her. The result is simply astounding: she looks and feels like a brand new woman!

The woman in this video approached him with the goal of needing a big change, and with no preferences for what that change needs to be. She tells him right off the bat: I'm just letting you do whatever you want.

When Christopher begins talking about what they could do next, he refers to her bangs and asks her, "You didn't cut them yourself, did you?". She nods a quiet yes, and tells him that she attempted to cut them just the previous week, which makes Christopher laugh. 

It is clear that she has attempted to make changes by herself, but knew that going to a professional would yield better results. She tells Christopher's team, "I need a big change. All the kids have left the nest now, so it's mom's time. I'm divorced, and I need a fresh start."

These are milestones in many people's lives where an opportunity to remake oneself is presented. The woman is ready to take the chance and do something just for herself. 

When she sees her new look, she first says, "It took the small town out of me, that's what it did." She may have been needing a change that took her out of the rut of a predictable daily routine or makes her feel like there is something new she can become. Christopher was able to provide her with new confidence and helped her to turn over a new leaf as she wanted.
