Dierks Bentley’s Fatherly Instincts Flare Up As Daughter Sings Verse Unexpectedly

Dierks Bentley has had an amazing, successful and long-lasting career since he started singing country music in 2003. He's the singer of the hit song “Drunk on a Plane,” but his first album came out sixteen years ago and he hasn’t looked back on life before singing since then.

His life is full of recording studios and touring around the world to meet his fans in person and make them smile with his music, but some people don’t know that he has a wife and children of his own to spend time with when he isn’t performing to sold-out crowds.

His upcoming tour for 2019 is called the Burning Man Tour, but before he embarks on a new journey, we need to take a look at a memorable moment from one of his last shows from his 2018 tour.

While traveling for his Mountain High Tour last year, at the final show to wrap up the tour he had a special surprise for the audience in order to mix things up a bit. Because he has hardcore fans that sometimes go to more than one show in a touring cycle, he likes to bring new life to the show by adding segments or switching things up a little bit to keep things interesting.

But what did he have in mind for his last show? A cameo from one of his favorite people, his ten-year-old daughter named Evelyn!

Dierks announced that he had a special guest that would be joining him, and Evie comes out wearing a beautiful white dress and cute little black boots. As she hops up next to her dad on stage, her father begins performing his popular song, “My Religion.” Little did he know that his daughter was about to steal the show!

His young daughter Evelyn begins singing the song entirely on her own, without the help of her musically famous father! Dierks seemed to be just as shocked as the audience, as he watches from next to her in disbelief.

Knowing that the upcoming verse in the song talks about drinking alcohol, he tries to cut her off but she totally ignores his pleas and continues singing!

As the song goes on, he lets her perform most of it but joins her towards the end for a beautiful duet between father and daughter. The way Dierks looks at his daughter proves just how proud he is and how much he loves her. At the end of the song, the two high-five before Evelyn takes a bow before the crowd. It’s an adorable moment you need to see for yourself! You can watch the performance in the video below.

What do you think about their cute duet? What would your reaction be if your daughter was singing about alcohol? Let us know in the comments and pass this along to all the country music fans you know!
