“Romeo & Juliet” is the song and it’s being performed by The Reflections. The show that is featured is the famous American Bandstand and the year this video took place is back in 1964. During this episode, Clark took the opportunity and invited these eight kids to get up on the stage with him and dance away. This is something they likely have remembered for life.

The music will take you back. That’s for sure. Or maybe, it will take you on a journey if you’re too young to remember.  How about the dancing? Do you know how to do this jig? You may want to dance along too!

This show had quite a record. It aired for an astonishing 37 years, from 1952-1989.

During most of the years, Dick Clark was the host. He hosted from 1956 until the final episode in '89. That's 33 years for anyone that's counting!

Do you recognize the type of dance they are doing? We're not familiar but we bet some of you know every move!

Do you know anyone in the video? Be sure and let them know if you do! They may not even own a copy of the video for themselves. That would be tragic!

Maybe you know of some fun and old stories like this. We would love to hear about it. Be sure and tell us all about it in the comments below. Pass on this story on to others to let them in on this nostalgia.
