Devoted Dad Builds Fun Roller Coaster For Son In His Garden By Using A Bike

Jan 27, 2022 by apost team

Whether it is playing pretend or building lego towers, parents will do anything to see their kids smile. However, there is one dad who went above and beyond to make sure his son was having a great time. This creative father built a custom rollercoaster for his son in their backyard. He used an exercise bike to power the ride and cycled his heart out while his son had the time of his life.

The shiny red coater looks straight out of an amusement park, except for the exercise bike attached to it. The man’s identity has not been shared, and some have commented that the video is not actually in a backyard, but instead at a public park. However, this has not been confirmed. Either way, this dad went above and beyond to make his child happy and that is something to be celebrated.

The video starts with the boy sitting in the wooden cart while his dad pedals furiously on the exercise bike. As soon as the cart reached the peak of the coaster, the dad stopped pedaling and watched as his child soared downhill and around curves, holding on tight to the cart the whole time. The entire display is adorable and it is touching to see a dad working hard so his son can have some fun.

This dad is not the first person to build a roller coaster for their child. There have been many others with the same idea. One dad even made a ride for his 3-year-old son. The heart shown in these projects is delightful to witness. Keep reading to learn more about this backyard coaster and to see some others as well.

The video of the dad on the exercise bike rollercoaster was shared on Instagram by Daily Good News. Many people stopped to leave comments on the ingenuity of the ride and how much this father must care for his son. One person suggested that their friend try making something similar. They said, "Put that Peloton to work for those kids of yours!"

Exercise bikes have become a staple for every home gym, but this is certainly a new application. Another person added that they would like to try out this fascinating machine. "I can see me enjoying this in the backyard bit of fun with a workout," they wrote.

Scott Brazelton is another father who made a rollercoaster in his backyard, and he did it for his 3-year-old son Wyatt. He filmed the ride and Wyatt's reaction, and the boy could not have looked happier as he flew around the yard in a cart that looks like a rocket ship. Scott wrote on Youtube

"After taking Wyatt to Disneyland and seeing how much he loved riding roller coasters at the ripe age of 3, I decided to build him his own at our place. If the neighbors could see, they'd definitely think I was nuts."

A mom posted on Twitter about her father building his grandson a rollercoaster in their backyard as well. "Why (is) my dad outside building my son a roller coaster," she tweeted and added a video. "It's not done but they are having the time of (their) lives." In the video, you can see the grandpa running alongside the unfinished coaster as the little boy looks thrilled.
