Demi Moore Shares an Intimate Look at Daughter Tallulah Willis’ Balenciaga Wedding Dress Fitting

Demi Moore offered a warm look inside one of the most personal moments surrounding her youngest daughter Tallulah Willis’ wedding: the final fitting for her custom Balenciaga gown.

Moore shared photographs of the fitting on Instagram, including images of herself helping Tallulah with her veil and standing beside her as she admired the finished look. “A glimpse into my beloved Tallulah’s wedding dress fitting,” Moore wrote. “All the tender moments leading up to her beautiful day are forever etched in my heart. So grateful we were able to share this precious event together as a family.” PEOPLE reported on Moore’s post and the family gathering.

Tallulah replied simply, “I love you mamas.”

The bride, who married musician Justin Acee in Sun Valley, Idaho, on August 8, 2026, wore a custom Balenciaga gown created under creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. Vogue attended Tallulah’s final fitting at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles and reported that the dress was among Piccioli’s first bridal designs for the fashion house.

Balenciaga confirms that Piccioli was appointed artistic director in May 2025, with his tenure beginning on July 10, 2025. His first collection for the house debuted in October 2025.

The images also showed Rumer and Scout Willis taking part in the fitting, underscoring how closely the sisters were involved in the celebration. Their presence gave the polished couture setting a relaxed, affectionate family atmosphere.

For Moore and Tallulah, the fitting was less about fashion-industry milestones than about sharing a meaningful family experience before the ceremony.

Tallulah’s wedding look reflected both couture craftsmanship and personal meaning. According to Vogue, the strapless silk-satin column gown was backed with silk organza and finished with a draped train and bow. Tallulah worked with stylist Brad Goreski, who has also worked with Moore, and Balenciaga’s couture team to shape the final design.

The craftsmanship was extensive. Vogue reported that the dress required 712 hours of work, including 405 hours devoted to construction and atelier alterations. The veil required additional work, including hand embroidery and individually applied beaded organza petals.

Tallulah’s sisters, Rumer and Scout, joined her at the fitting, turning the fashion appointment into a family occasion. Scout joked about how far her sister’s dress search had come: “Remember when you were sending me Etsy wedding dresses?” She added, “From Etsy to Balenciaga couture—that’s a moment. Who would have thought?”

Tallulah and Acee announced their engagement in December 2024. Their relationship has also been a source of comfort for Tallulah as her family navigates her father Bruce Willis’ health challenges. In an August 2024 interview with PEOPLE, she described an ideal day with Acee by saying, “Waking up laughing with my partner would be the best kind of day, which I will be honest happens a lot.”

Tallulah also told Vogue that her wedding dress represented more than a dramatic bridal look. She spoke about wanting something magical and unexpected while celebrating the work she had done to become more comfortable in her own skin.

That combination of family, craftsmanship and personal growth gave the fitting its emotional weight. Moore’s photos captured a glamorous fashion moment, but the lasting story was the bond between a mother, her daughter and the family gathered around her.
