Delivery People Happily Discover Homeowner Left Snacks For Them On Her Front Porch During Holiday Season

Kathy Ouma is a special homeowner who makes an extra effort to leave snacks out on her front porch for delivery persons to take advantage of during the holiday season. This year, Kathy was able to catch the reactions of each delivery person. She's shared them with the world, and we're not let down.

Christmas is only a few weeks away. This means a ton of Christmas shopping for others. It's also safe to assume that people are doing some shopping for you too, but only if you've been good this year. Thanks to the sheer convenience of the internet, most of this shopping is probably being done through e-commerce sites. Even though you don't have to lift more than a finger for a click here and there, delivery drivers are the ones taking a brunt of the work. They're making sure everything gets sent on time and in good condition. These everyday heroes are basically the real Santa Claus.

Understanding the weight of this burden, a considerate citizen from Delaware decided to leave tasty snacks on her porch for delivery people in celebration of the holiday season. Delivery drivers all across the country wish to be sent to Kathy's house as she does this every year. Kathy places care packages full of drinks and snacks for those lucky souls delivering to her house. The pile of snacks sits atop a chair on her front porch and has a letter addressed to Amazon, FedEx, USPS, and UPS delivery workers. The note gives thanks to the hard-working men and women for "making holiday shopping easy."

Although this happens each year, Kathy's kind gesture has gained viral status this year due to the pure reactions given by one of the many delivery people. Kathy used a special doorbell camera to film the reactions of one Amazon Prime worker who was especially touched by the gesture. He excitedly chose some snacks and did a celebratory dance at the end. Kathy knew she had to share the awesome reaction online. She couldn't have guessed the reaction that would have followed.

The post has gained a lot of attention online as well as through multiple news channels. Kathy found out the name of the delivery driver and thanked him directly in the post. It's nice to see someone giving back in the holiday spirit to the people that make Christmas so much easier for us.
