In this recent video, Ellie Mae, a gorgeous jet black Great Dane is dressed up by her owners in a pretty pink princess costume. However, despite looking gorgeous, Ellie Mae does not seem impressed by the gesture—her face says it all!

This Pretty, Pretty Princess Isn't Having It
Ellie Mae, the Great Dane, is a fiercely loyal companion to her owners. So, how would any normal human reward man's best friend for being such a lovely comrade? By dressing said comrade up in a pink princess costume, of course!

As you will see shortly, Ellie Mae is totally NOT thrilled with this setup. She proves this by quietly licking her chops in a moment of surrender as her master coos sweet nothings like "Who's the pretty, pretty princess?" One thing is for certain, this pretty, pretty princess simply isn't having it.
Though we can feel Ellie's pain—I mean, she's this beast of a dog dressed up in a pink, frilly princess costume—we can also see the humor in this video. In fact, we find it quite hilarious with a bit of "aww" in the mix. We're sorry, Ellie Mae, but you are just so darn cute!
It's My Party, I'll Cry if I Want To
Even though the typical Great Dane stands around 46-inches tall, Ellie Mae seems to slump as if saying, "Come on, guys, don't make me do this!" Even with her cone-shaped princess hat, or hennin, this Dane doesn't seem to feel like royalty, much less Great. Still, her owners—and we, if we're being completely honest here—simply love Ellie Mae all glammed up!
Whether Ellie Mae is resigned to being dressed up like a pretty princess or she is slightly embarrassed, we cannot tell. We aren't for sure, but we can assume that her owner is either taking her trick-or-treating or dressing her up for a Halloween party. That means that this friendly and agreeable dog will have loads of people to consort with.
Give Me a Bone
This means that Ellie Mae, for all her embarrassment, resignation, or inconvenience, will probably be rewarded in the form of tasty doggy treats by dog-loving trick-or-treaters or party guests. Perhaps Ellie Mae will stumble upon a large score like a pig ear or a big bone. Certainly, this will give Ellie Mae something to smile about again.
