Autism With Attitude is a dance group from the UK. As their name suggests, the members of the group are all on the Autism spectrum. Their performance on the tv show The Greatest Dancer in 2019 earned them a standing ovation.

In 2019, Autism With Attitude brought their talents to the big stage of BBC's The Greatest Dancer. The series is hosted by singer and presenter Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo, a member of multi-award-winning dance troupe Diversity.

All of the members of Autism With Attitude, or AWA, are on the Autism spectrum. This incredible group allows these individuals to express themselves through the art of dance.

The audience holds the power in this talent show — if they are impressed by the audition, they can vote to open the mirror, and if 75 percent of the audience vote yes then the mirror will open and the dancer will make it through to the next stage of the competition, the callbacks.

In the video, one of the dancer’s mothers describes the group’s goal, saying, “They just want to prove to everyone that, regardless of your abilities and your capabilities, that you can achieve anything.”

As soon as the music started, AWA showed off their hip-hop skills and that captivated the crowd with ease. After their incredible performance, the wall opened, which meant the group was moving on to the next round.

Judge Cheryl remarked by saying, “You came out with passion, with force, with fearlessness. And you did exactly what your mom said before. No matter your ability, no matter what’s going on, if you put in hard work and dedication, you can achieve your dreams.”

This group proves that you can achieve anything that you set your mind to. Pass this inspiring story and entertaining dance routine to your friends and family.
