Dad Rescues Dog’s Beloved Teddy Bear After It Was Left Outside During Storm

Pets are like family to most of us, and you never leave family behind. Because they become our furry four-legged best friends over the years that we spend with them, leaving pets behind can be hard, even when we know we’re doing the right thing. Even leaving them in the morning for work can tug on our heartstrings, so leaving behind a family pet when you go to college, as you imagine, is even more difficult.

When a girl named Michaella Wallace left for her college in Pennsylvania to enter her second semester, she left behind a dog that she truly cared about with all of her heart.

Thankfully, Michaella has a great relationship with her father who made sure to keep her in the loop with the animal while she was away. The interaction was so wholesome and amazing that it’s gone viral, and now internet users from all over the world are sharing in the laughs!

Michael and her dad have a warm and loving relationship, and it seems like her father always goes above and beyond to make her smile. They truly make the best of their time together, so when she has to leave for college it’s hard on both of them.

Not only is she leaving her dad behind, but her dog as well. But Michaella never knew what she was getting into when she shared interaction with her father on the social media platform Twitter on January 24.

The star of her tweet was none other than her father, along with her family dog Lucky, who is an eleven-year-old who belongs to the breed of Ihasa-chons.

The tweet and funny scenario all started with a stuffed bear. The bear was a gift to Michaella’s mother, but the family dog quickly decided that it was his new favorite toy. Even though the bear has lost most of its stuffing and is dirty from going outside with the dog, Lucky still is in love with the raggedy toy.

He treats the bear like it's his child, sleeping with it, cuddling it, and spending his days playing with it. With the recent snowstorms that have hit the country, Lucky’s bear got into a bit of trouble.

Lucky had taken the bear outside in the snow to play, but accidentally lost it and left it behind.

However, the snow eventually melted and the bear was found, but he was looking a little disheveled from what he’d been through out there.

Michaella’s dad, Terry, knew just what to do to revive the bear back into health and good spirits, all while making his daughter laugh and smile from her dorm at college. He sent his daughter a series of texts that detail exactly how he was going to repair the bear, and once she posted them on Twitter, they went viral, making people smile and laugh from all around the world!

Terry credits himself for saving the bear’s life, washing it and giving him a fake “IV” of fluids in order to nurse him back to regular condition. His pictures that detail his day of fixing the bear are hysterical to go through, and it’s no wonder that this post went viral so fast.
