Dad Invents DIY ‘Monster Spray’ For His Daughter

Back in 2015, a Canadian dad named Aaron Watson discovered a new monster-fighting weapon to banish his daughter’s fears and help the whole family sleep at night: a "monster spray."
It is a well-known fact that most fathers will do anything to make their children happy. This instinct is deeply embedded in the psyche of every father.

It is a difficult time when parents are forced to watch their children wrestle with fears and are unable to bring them comfort.
Many children fear the possibility of a monster residing beneath their beds. As CTV News reported, little Mya is one child that struggled more than most with this fear. This fear consumed her until her father stepped in with a solution.

Aaron Wilson knew he must find a solution when his daughter's fear of monsters made her unable to sleep.
Most parents will check under the bed or in the closet to assure their child no monster is present. Others will talk sternly to the child and tell them point-blank that monsters do not exist. This second method is not generally suggested due to the possibility of traumatizing the child.
Aaron went above and beyond these methods to find a solution for his daughter Mya. Aaron left the house in search of monster spray to fight the nighttime invaders in his daughter's room. He solicited the help of a local pharmacy that painted a label on a spray bottle for him to make it appear more legitimate.
The secret ingredient is water. Aaron mixed in a bit of lavender to provide a soothing scent for Mya. The word got out to the public and the pharmacy received requests from other parents to fill monster spray prescriptions.
The pharmacist told a media source that Aaron's idea was "cute," and he was glad to help the concerned father. He says other parents have reached out after discovering how well the monster spray worked for Mya.
