It’s no secret that kids say the darndest things, but they pick up on many behaviors as well. Children are even more likely to emulate those they look up to. For instance, Saige, a two-year-old with a knack for learning, is expected to follow in her father’s footsteps.

Saige’s father, Chris Pietroforte, is a fire lieutenant and CPR instructor. As the owner of California’s Central Valley CPR, Chris understands the importance of being trained in safety procedures. He often watches tutorials and practices his skills at home.

Being the observant toddler she is, Saige has mastered the art of CPR just by watching her father. One day, Saige demonstrated just how competent she is in CPR training when she performed CPR on a mannequin. Chris took a video to document the moment.

In the video, Saige is seen “saving” a mannequin’s life. She’s sure to follow the steps precisely without overlooking any vital measures. Though Chris is used to seeing his daughter perform CPR exercises, Facebook viewers were impressed with Saige’s proficiency.

Chris used this opportunity to illustrate just how simple it is to learn CPR. According to Chris, if a toddler can do it, so can adults. Chris told the reporters that he’s exceedingly proud of his daughter and her willingness to help others.

When she grows older, Saige wants to “help with big owies.” Her dad has undoubtedly played a role in shaping her future dreams.
