Crying Baby Is Hypnotized By Sound Of Pianist Dad Playing Liszt’s Classic

Whenever a parent hears their baby cry, they do everything in their power to help their son or daughter stop crying. It’s heartbreaking to hear the sadness come from such a small human. Sometimes babies just need to be cared for, like having their diapers changed or being fed. Sometimes they need something that demands more of their parents’ time, though, resulting in parents having to come up with some creative solutions to try to help get their little one to finally calm down.

Some parents find toys that distract their kids, while others choose to put on stimulating TV shows or soothing music. Fortunately for one parent, he found that playing the piano worked well at helping his tiny son calm down and stop crying. The dad is a piano player that spends his time practicing beautiful pieces of music and uploading videos of himself playing the piano to his YouTube channel. He refers to himself as Mr. Forte.

At the time of upload on April 8, 2021, his tiny tot was only 11 months old and is absolutely adorable. However, like any other baby in the world, he sometimes needs to let out a good cry. Luckily for this little boy, his father is great at playing all of the classics on the piano. Rather than playing soft, melodic lullabies for his son, the pianist opts for more demanding pieces that are intricate and interesting to listen to, which certainly distract his child from whatever seems to be bothering him. When the musician by the name of Mr. Forte saw his tiny son crying, he knew exactly what he needed to do in order to help the tot calm down. Playing a soothing song on the piano was bound to work, yet the pianist found success playing a more challenging piece. Rather than playing a sweet lullaby for his baby boy, the musician decided to take “La Campanella” by Franz Liszt. 

The classical piece is known for being one of the most difficult pieces ever written for the piano, and it’s incredibly challenging to play — even for a professional musician. However, the piano-playing father was definitely not deterred from taking on such a demanding piece of music and expertly played “La Campanella” for his sweet baby.

With his crying baby strapped to his chest, the musically talented father sat in front of a piano and expertly moved his fingers across the keys, playing “La Campanella” beautifully. The baby’s cries ceased almost immediately as he was mesmerized by his dad’s playing. With each note the dad played, the baby seemed more and more intrigued and less inclined to cry. It was as if he was completely hypnotized by his dad’s professional playing.

A video of the beautiful moment was uploaded to YouTube in April 2021 and has since garnered more than 1.4 million views. It’s clear that people from all over the world were just as amazed by this man’s musical abilities as his son was. The musician has also shared more of his work on his Instagram account. His son even has an account filled with adorable pictures of the tiny tot. What a heartwarming moment between this father and son!
