Craig Morgan Performs Song About His Late Son On 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'

After Craig Morgan sang "The Father, My Son, And The Holy Ghost" on The Kelly Clarkson Show, both Kelly and Blake Shelton were brought to tears. Craig Morgan debuted the song back in July of 2019 and then performed it on Kelly’s show on October, 17th.

After a tubing accident on Kentucky Lake in Tennessee, Craig Morgan's son passed away. Distraught by his 19-year-old son, Jerry's death, Craig wrote a new song that became "The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost." The song ended-up becoming a hit after receiving celebrity support.

After debuting the song at the Grand Ole Opry, Craig's song got the attention of country stars such as Blake Shelton. The song eventually topped the iTunes charts at #1 and Blake Shelton tweeted his congratulations:

Craig was then surprised by Blake Shelton himself when he appeared for Morgan's performance of the song on The Kelly Clarkson Show in OctoberIn the video, one can see how Clarkson and Shelton both gave Craig Morgan a standing ovation while crying for his incredibly moving performance.
