Couple Treated To Honeymoon Trip To Italy After Doing Photo Shoot At Italian Chain Restaurant

Whether you admit it or not, Olive Garden is arguably one of the best places to go to if you want to have a taste of Italy. From their classic shrimp scampi fritta to their chicken parmigiana or their creamy mushroom fettuccine, you simply can’t go wrong with Olive Garden’s choice on the menu. But Olive Garden offers more than just a taste of Italy. Most of the Italian-American restaurant chain stores give off a vibe that will make you feel like you’re actually in an Italian villa.

Carlsey Bibb and Caden Miller from Tennessee got engaged in Daytona, Florida, in July 2022. But they wanted to have a unique feel to their engagement photo shoot. So, they went to an Olive Garden branch near them. What they didn’t know, though, was that their photos would go viral. But the best part? It caught the attention of Olive Garden. And if you think Olive Garden simply thanked them for it, the popular restaurant chain expressed their gratitude in the most awesome way!

In July 2022, photographer Shea Craven, who runs a studio called Hunter La Shea Photography, uploaded a clip on TikTok which featured amazing shots from the engagement shoot. "When you want Italy vibes for your engagement photos, but you live in Tennessee … so you take your photos at Olive Garden," he wrote in the text on the video, which has garnered hundreds of thousands of views as of this writing.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Bibb shared that it was all Craven’s idea to have the photo shoot done at Olive Garden.

"I asked Shea — our photographer and longtime friend — if there was anywhere she had been wanting to shoot but hadn't yet," Bibb told Buzzfeed. That's when she mentioned Olive Garden!"

Meanwhile, Cravens shared more information about how the idea came to be via a post on Instagram. "I am so happy with the outcome," Cravens said, sharing how happy he was about the result.

He continued: “Carlsey asked if I had any ideas or anything new I've wanted to try for their engagement photos and I immediately said 'Soooooo I've been dying to do a sunrise session at Olive Garden' (and) she was down for it, so we did the dang thing.”

Good Morning America then invited them over to the show after the clip went viral. At first, they thought it would be a simple guest appearance on the show where they would talk about their experience doing the engagement photo shoot as well as the reaction from the public after the video went viral. While they did talk about the photo shoot, what they didn’t know was they were up for something bigger.

After answering a question about their honeymoon plans which they admitted that it was something they hadn’t decided on yet at that time, Bibb and Miller were treated to the biggest surprise they could ever receive as a wedding gift: an all-expense paid trip to Italy courtesy of Olive Garden! When the ‘boarding pass’ was handed to them, all they could utter were the words “Thank you!”

On how they feel about going to Europe for their honeymoon, Bibb told Fox 11

"Neither of us have been to Europe but it has always been a dream to go. We never thought we’d get to go this soon in life or maybe even at all so we’re just really excited and really thankful.”
