Couple That Can't Pay Tip Has Waitress Falls To Her Knees Upon Realizing Their Plan

Working in a restaurant is hard work and most wait staff are underpaid all around the world. It's definitely not easy to have to meet customers' every demand for your entire shift.

Sometimes it seems like tips can't make up for the amount of work that goes into their jobs. Can you imagine the pain and frustration that comes from standing on your feet for hours at a time, dealing with some of the most stressful situations possible?

Chelsea Ross is one of those waitresses that always manages to keep a smile on her face, but that doesn't mean things have always been easy for her. She has even cried after being told why she isn't getting a tip. Chelsea deserves a break like so many others!

Chelsea hasn't had the easiest life. She has had the trying task of raising her sister. She also suffered from an eating disorder, but she now runs a non-profit organization that focuses on yoga in order to help others that have eating disorders. Even though Chelsea is dealing with so much in her own personal life, she doesn't let it on to others.

She keeps that smile on her face all the time, especially when working.

She was recently faced with the oddest shift of her life. A couple that told her that they have only enough money to cover their meal and there wouldn't be anything left to tip her with. She kept it together and maintained her normal happy composure. She knew she needed the money, but she didn't know their situation, though, so she decided to show compassion for the situation they were in.

She was able to keep things together until they offered her a tip of a different kind. She was in complete shock as they handed her a tip worth much more than their bill had cost in the first place.

In fact, she had only just recovered from a moment earlier during her shift when someone left a $1000 on one of the tables she was covering. Without hesitation, she instantly wanted to divide it up with all of the coworkers. She refused to even put the money in her pocket.

She didn't understand what was going on with the customers that were coming through that day. She knew about the phrase "paying it forward," but she didn't understand what the phrase truly meant until the strangest shift of her life ended in a surprise she would never, ever forget.
