Couple Spent $450 On Pizza For Their Wedding Meal

Traditional weddings can be fun. However, there could be some insane and unique decisions made that could turn that wedding into an unforgettable experience. A happy couple in Cornwall decided to do that for their guests by ordering a ton of pizzas from Domino's for their wedding buffet.

The blushing bride proudly said to The Daily Mail, "Most people know me and Tom just don't do things traditionally." It all started with a literal joke. Victoria and Tom Browne, the previously-mentioned happy couple, laughingly told each other that maybe they should get some Domino's for their wedding. As time passed and they were running out of ideas, they eventually decided to fully commit to this idea. Victoria called up Domino's to ask them how many pizzas and sides they could get with their current budget. The reply was, unsurprisingly, a lot. Then, history would be made, as this would be the first time that the franchise of Domino's would ever cater to a wedding.

"I was so paranoid about whether they were actually going to be able to do it..." remarked the no-longer-nervous bride to The Daily Mail. When Victoria and Tom told their friends and family, everyone was understandably skeptical. They thought that this was a bluff, that there was no way this happy couple would follow through with these plans.

However, their minds quickly changed when the sweet, delicious smell of pizza filled their wedding venue. There were 20 boxes of chicken strips, 20 boxes of garlic bread, 20 more for wedges and, of course, a whopping 30 large boxes of pizza. Tom and Victoria always liked to do things differently, and this was no exception. Tom made it clear that they didn't want to get food that they think others like but, rather food that they know they like.

The results were a success. Guests were happily chomping away at the baked goods. Not a single person complained about this magnificent banquet. Luckily, there was enough for everyone. Victoria remarked that she was glad they didn't have to bring a ton of pizzas home. Understandably, she also wants pizzas to stay out of her sight for a while.
