What really goes on when we leave our homes unattended? One couple found out in the most horrifying way.

While Mike Cox was taking his wife out for a date, something unsavory was going on at their home. The couple was enjoying a quiet dinner when an unimaginable disaster was brewing at their home.

When the couple returned to their house, they were stunned. While they were gone for just a few hours, someone wreaked havoc on their home, resulting in broken furniture, damaged property, and thousands of dollars of repairs.

The glass in the windows was shattered, the walls were crumbling, and the furniture lay in shambles. What could've appeared to be the work of a swift yet an unexpected hurricane, began to take on a different form when Mike discovered beer bottles littering the floor.

As Mike searched for answers, he soon discovered that teens had ransacked his home. After a search on social media, Mike learned that over 300 teenagers had a huge party in his house!

They broke in, drank his beer, destroyed his belongings, and proudly posted their footage all over the Internet. In a clip from Inside Edition, we learn what really happened that night. The clip features the teens' video from that night.

This unauthorized party was actually part of a sinister plot to have a wild rave at an abandoned home. The teens that planned the shindig picked Cox's house after seeing it on the market going for $1,500,000.

With thousands of dollars in damage to repair, Cox and his wife took the home off the market. The couple is now working to fix their home, hoping that all teens responsible for the damage will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Commenters on the viral video expressed their outrage. Many comments say that the trespassers should each be forced to pay a lump sum to help pay for damages. Others blame the teenagers' lack of responsibility on the Millennial generation. Wild and unruly, these teenagers are the perfect example of kids with no sense of control.
