Couple Married For Fifty Years Unable To Recognize The Other From Makeovers

Jo and Kevin Taylor have been married for 49 years. The pair met on December 2, 1967, when they were in high school. Jo was 14 and Kevin was 16 when they first met. They knew from the beginning that they would be together forever. They were able to converse naturally and talk about everything and anything with ease.
The infinite jokes they had with each other and the undeniable love they shared helped make their relationship last for so long. According to Kevin, the answer was simple, she was his best friend.

They currently have five kids, fourteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Jo and Kevin are still happily in love with each other, reports TODAY.

However, there is one aspect of their relationship that definitely needs an improvement. It's their fashion. They still dress as if they're living in the 70's. Biker outfits, scraggly hair galore, the couple definitely needed a makeover according to friends and family. Their loved ones encouraged them to apply for the Ambush Makeover on the Today Show. They were quite hesitant about changing their looks so dramatically. But they decided to just go for it because they would never get picked.
In celebration of Valentine's Day, the Today Show decided to give a couple a makeover. Little did Jo and Kevin know, they would be the chosen couple.
Jo has always wanted Kevin to trim his beard. Jo always enjoyed her long hair. Stylists, Louis Licari and Jill Martin, said the couple was lovely and that's one of the reasons they wanted to work with them. Jo and Kevin appreciated the little things in life.
Louis and Jill decided they would give them a makeover they'd never forget. Additionally, they understood the importance of keeping some of their original style intact. They created a fusion blend between biker and chic. They gave them new outfits and changed up their hairstyles in order to achieve a modern look.
