Josh Turner had always had a deep love for gospel music and he was able to fulfill his dreams by releasing his own record. He released an updated version of "Long Black Train" which became a hit single off his album I Serve a Savior that centered around how important it was to keep your faith and not give into sin and temptation.

The album contained many different types of songs and Josh Turner was excited to show the world that gospel isn't just one style of music. His album featured a song that was co-written by his oldest son and his wife. This song is titled "The River (Of Happiness)" and it is extremely meaningful to the artist. His son Hampton is only 12 years old and helped write the song more than 4 years ago. The world had never had the chance to hear it until Josh released it on I Serve a Savior

Hampton was not the only son who helped bring the song to life, all 4 of his children can be heard singing on the album version! Hampton along with Colby (9), Marion (7), and Hawke (4) all showed that they definitely inherited their father's talent for music! Josh was happy about getting the chance to feature his family and believes that their musical careers probably won't stop at just this single. The Lord is calling them for something much bigger!

The gospel album that featured the precious single came along with a DVD of a special performance at Gaither Studios. During the performance, Josh stepped aside and let his sons shine on the stage. His 4 boys sang "The River" with their mother Jennifer accompanying them on the piano. Not only were the boys singing their hearts out, but Hampton even played the mandolin along with the performance. The sight of them singing will certainly warm your heart!

What do you think of this family's performance? How do you bond with your own family? Let us know in the comments and be sure to pass this video along to anyone who might be just as touched by their performance.
