Aspiring country singer Jackie Verna, who is on Team Adam on NBC's hit singing competition show "The Voice," has been wowing audiences every week since this current cycle of the show began. For the latest challenge, the TV viewing audience was asked to choose the song that the remaining 11 contestants would have to perform, and for Jackie they chose "Strawberry Wine," a song by Deana Carter that was released in 1996.

Viewers felt the song, which is about memories that a woman has about a summer romance she had when she was a teenager, would be perfect for the talented contestant to sing.

When she took the stage, she didn't disappoint.

Her performance of the song was clearly the best one of the night. Although she added her own touch to Strawberry Wine, she didn't veer too far away from the original version. This song has long been a favorite amongst fans of country music, so it's considered to be a classic that no one should try to cover unless they can do it justice, and Jackie Verna did just that.

Because of this strong vocal performance, she has, no doubt, just thrown herself into the list of contestants who will get a spot in the Top 10, and will go on to compete for the ultimate prize.

Jackie Verna has delivered solid performances throughout this season of "The Voice," but her smooth-flowing rendition of the hit country song was one where she nailed both the low and high notes effortlessly, impressing all of the judges, who, as people who watch the show know, are Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine, who is Jackie's coach, and who has won several seasons of the show.

He seems to have a knack for choosing the vocalists who make it into the last leg of the competition.

This singer may very well end up taking the top spot in the finale.

She is definitely one to watch. To see her intoxicating performance of Strawberry Wine, watch the video below.
