Meeting a celebrity is always exciting, but in rare cases, a fan and a star can form a special connection that changes both of their lives. Country star Kelsea Ballerini recently experienced this when she had the opportunity to meet one of her biggest fans, a blind boy battling brain cancer.

When Kelsea Ballerini performed a concert in St. Augustine, Florida, she met 9-year-old Ayden Morgan. Ayden lost his sight when he was three as a result of brain cancer. He and his mom Tiffany Henke had traveled to the show from their home in Ocala, Florida. Ayden told Kelsea how much he enjoyed music, especially country, and of his plans to learn to play electric guitar according to Fox 17 News.

After the show, Ayden and his mom Tiffany returned home and resumed their lives. Six months later, a large box arrived addressed to Ayden. Tiffany was surprised because she was not expecting a package and the return address was in Nashville, Tennessee. After school, Ayden arrived home to the large box and excitedly began opening it.

Inside he found a handwritten note from Kelsea Ballerini, which his mother read to him. "Ayden, meeting you in St. Augustine really touched my heart, and I wanted to get you a special guitar to encourage you to keep playing and using your life. All my love, Kelsea," the letter read. Kelsea also sent him a personalized electric guitar with his name written on it in braille so that he would continue to pursue his love of music.

Ayden was so touched by the gift, and the thoughtfulness of Kelsea, that he began to cry. His mom told  Fox 17 News, "The gift that she sent us was absolutely unbelievable, I never would have imagined in my whole lifetime that someone would have done something so thoughtful for my son."
