Austin, Minnesota is a small city. There's not much news coming out of this community that makes it to the national stage, and that's how the locals like it. They hew close to small-town values, like working hard and not drawing attention to themselves. However, recently one incident in Austin did go viral.

It was August of 2017. Millie Seiver was out for her daily walk. At 92, Millie was hard to miss. Sergeant Kim Lenz had seen Millie out before. She knew the elderly lady loved to dance. On that morning, she stopped to talk to the elderly woman about her moves.

Millie shared the secret of her moves with Sgt. Lenz. It turns out that she dances when walking just gets a bit too tedious.

That's right, at 92, Millie still needs a little more excitement in her life than just a stroll.

On that particular summer morning, Lenz decided to tune her car radio to the same station and join Millie for a twirl.

This was all captured on Sgt. Lenz's dashboard camera. Cruisers were equipped with these cameras to protect both the police and the public during moments of controversy. However, this footage did something better.

It warmed hearts around the country and the world. The dance shared by the two ladies, to "Stay a Little Longer," has brightened more than just their days. It's impacted everyone who has seen it.

And that one dance wasn't the only time these ladies connected. Once the clip went viral, Sgt. Lenz stopped in to see Millie. She wanted to make sure this elderly woman understood the extent of her reach.

This footage has been a great reminder that even very different people share commonalities. It's also a reminder that police are part of our communities, and that policing done right can be an asset to all kinds of people. Pass on this amazing story to your friends and loved ones.
