When you hear about a story involving a granny and the kind acts that she performs along with those acts that are performed for her, it makes you feel good inside. An 88-year-old grandmother interacted with an ironworker while she was at a hospital in a way that has touched all of those around them.

Gloria Porter had been in her hospital room for about a week and was trying to find some way to pass the time until she was able to go home. She had been watching the ironworkers while they were building a new entrance to the hospital. Gloria was concerned for one of the workers one day when it was snowing.

Jeff Reick was concerned about the woman who he had been watching in the hospital while she had been there.

Jeff had written "Get Well" on one of the beams so that Gloria could see the message from her window. She had been monitoring the safety of the workers without knowing that they were looking out for her as well. Jeff just wanted the older woman to know that someone was thinking about her and wanted her to get better.

Gloria wrote "Stay Safe" on a piece of paper, displaying it in the window of her room so that Jeff and the other workers could see it when they looked up at her. The workers needed to hear that message that day so that they would stay safe while working in the snow.

Find out what happened to Jeff and the workers later in the week and how Gloria's response meant more to the workers than she could imagine. Send this video to your family and friends so that they can also enjoy and learn from such a beautiful act of kindness!
