If you're not a morning person, waking up early and forcing yourself out of bed can be a challenge. One woman in Brazil was struggling with this. Every morning, she slept through her alarm. This caused all sorts of problems for her, like arriving late to work too often.
According to The Mirror, she and her partner wanted to figure out why their alarm wasn't waking them up and causing them to arrive late to work. They decided to see what would happen if they set the alarm to go off and see what was causing it to be turned off or not sound.
What they discovered was hilarious.

It turns out that she isn't the only one in the household to hate the sound of a ringing alarm.
The footage she took shows her cat, Joaquim, perched on a wardrobe as he falls asleep. When the alarm begins to go off, he leaves his comfortable spot, crosses the room, and jumps up beside the phone on the nightstand. He then quickly paws the screen of the phone over and over until the alarm shuts off.
His owner was unable to control her laughter. When she picked up the phone, Joaquim hopped onto the bed and grabbed her arm, even biting her a few times. He must really hate that alarm!
Here's hoping Joaquim's owner finds a better spot for her phone next time -- or closes the door so he can't get in to turn it off.
Do you hate the sound of an alarm as much as Joaquim apparently does? Or are you the type of person who wakes up alert and ready to start the day?
