Complete Stranger Steps In When Elderly Man Can't Pay For Expensive Medication At Walgreens

Christmas often brings out the best in people. From buying gifts for those who can't afford them for their children to getting food for a holiday meal, giving is usually in abundance during the holiday season.

A woman was shopping at Walgreens when she witnessed something that touched her heart. An elderly man entered the store and walked to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. When he found out how much the prescription was going to cost, he knew that he couldn't afford the price.

The man was trying to get a prescription that would last for three months and that was $170. He started counting the money that he had so that he might be able to pay for a one-month supply, but even that was a difficult task because he just didn't have the money.

Someone was standing nearby and overhead the struggles that the elderly man was having and decided to help. A woman approached the counter after hearing that the man couldn't get enough medicine for three months and told the pharmacist that she would pay for the prescription.

Although the man tried to stop her from paying for the medicine, the woman wouldn't let him leave without allowing her to help him. He embraced her and thanked her for what she did. The whole interaction was captured on video and then posted online for others to see. There are still people who will do good things for others.
