Colossal Newfoundland Convinced He's A Lap Dog

May 20, 2020 by apost team

This Newfoundland named Boss belongs to the Fisher family, who roams the United States in a 34-foot RV. Despite their non-traditional living space, they own two Newfoundlands and a smaller dog. However, their Newfoundland Boss still thinks he's a lap dog, and the family caught it on video.

Boss is a Newfoundland a part of the Fisher family, and he’s a huge bear of a dog. Bee Fisher and her family adopted him when he was a puppy but even as a puppy, he was pretty big—weighing about 140 pounds. He’s been on cross-country adventures with his human family and his (equally big) dog brother, Ralphie.

We all love dogs, but it isn’t every day that we see a dog that takes up so much space. He became an internet sensation, but we know that he didn’t care about all that fame; he has nothing but love for his family.

Recently, the Fishers have adopted a girl dog named Gidget. She’s nothing like her big brothers: At 11 pounds, she’s a fraction of their size, and she’s clearly the boss of the household.

We love seeing families like the Fishers, who adopt all sorts of dogs to create an eclectic and happy group. Everyone who owns a dog knows that, if well trained, they are a great source of joy—especially when they don’t realize that they are dogs. There are too many dogs in the pound waiting for a forever family, and many of them will never have the joyful life that Boss, Ralphie, and Gidget enjoy.
