There is a common misconception that students, especially those in college, are lazy. While this notion may come from the mass amount of college parties occurring every semester or Greek life, one thing is for sure: college students sure do have a lot of free time. Most students take advantage of this free time by tidying up their resumes or enhancing their skills. Others decide to build houses.

While juggling his coursework and social life, one college student also found the time to engage in a project of building his dream home. Bradley has recently completed his long project of building a 22.5 feet long home, complete with multiple rooms and a power source.

The project took nearly two years. Half of the first year was spent on planning the layout and other details while the rest was spent on hard construction. The house is quite impressive for having been built by only one person. Although the home is mobile, Bradley has kept it parked on the end of a one-way, dead-end street.

To complement the interior, he decided to expand on the outside and create a deck. The deck was constructed out of flat, wooden pallets with a sleek, shiny finish. Of course, if he ever decides to move his home, he can just gather the pallets and move on.

The deck includes a fire pit and a birdbath, making it warm and cozy. He does not mind throwing them away, however, if he decides to relocate because they were rather inexpensive purchases. At one end of the home, there are electrical outlets and hose attachments on the wall. These provide power and water to the entire home. On the other side of his home, he created a large porch that is sturdy enough to contain two rocking chairs and a small table.

Bradley did not make the majority of the home from scratch, but rather purchased a used travel trailer and expanded from there. He purchased one with a higher height so that he could utilize the bottom of it for storage.

The interior of his home looks like an ordinary home, fully equipped with a long couch and a dining area. He also has a TV mounted above his electric fireplace. One unique feature of his home is that the island next to his sofa doubles as a dining table. Above the living and dining area is a loft where Bradley keeps his pet snake in a tank.

Bradley's home is designed for space-efficiency, reports the Daily Mail. He was faced with the difficulty of having a small space to fit necessary furniture into. He has aced this task brilliantly, even boasting more kitchen counter space than other homes. A majority of the kitchen is handmade, rather than store-bought.

For aesthetic purposes, Bradley made decisions such as placing his oven under his fridge. His home also comes equipped with a closet for doing laundry and a desk for office work. While Bradley's home may seem tiny, he has almost everything a normal home has, including a bedroom, living and dining rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. His bedroom is large enough to contain a full-sized mattress and extra space for storage.

It is safe to say that Bradley's home is by far one of the most unique homes out there today. He absolutely loves living in his home and hopes he can stay there throughout the rest of his college career.
