The doors of the Alesund church opened up. Mary and her father began to walk down the aisle. All of the guests stood up, but they did not expect what happened next.

Initially, the organ played the traditional “Wedding March.” The bride took a few steps with her father, but then she pulled out a microphone. The next moment left the entire church in tears.

Instead of just walking down the aisle, Mary began to sing “You Raise Me up.” The church suddenly filled with an amazingly gorgeous voice. You can hear her stunning voice in the video and see everyone's reaction.

A Priceless Moment Is Made

Mary continued to hold her father's arm as her dulcet tones filled the church. In the balcony, a choir backed up Mary's voice. The song was a perfect choice for a Norwegian wedding since it was originally composed by the Irish-Norwegian Secret Garden.

At the altar, the groom tried hard not to cry. He had no clue that another surprise was in store for him. To everyone's surprise, Mary's father started to sing. Unlike Mary's earlier song, he sang something he composed himself. He said that it was time to give away his daughter, and he wanted the groom to take care of her.

The bride responded to her father's duet. She sang that her groom loved her more than ever. She was ready to take her vows. The groom and the entire audience were moved by the touching, sweet performance.

Since the video was first posted online two years ago, it has gone viral. Currently, the video has received more than 41 million views on YouTube. It is easy to see why!
