At just 13 years old, Will Reeve became orphaned when his mother, Dana Reeve, passed away from lung cancer – just two years following the death of his famous dad, Christopher Reeve.

Now at the young age of 27, Will has made a career for himself in sports journalism and is continuing his parent's philanthropic legacy in curing paralysis. Oh, and he looks just like his late father.

Will Reeve is the youngest of Christopher's three children. He had a son and daughter with Gae Exton and a second son with actress Dana Morosini. It is Dana and Christopher's son that reminds people of his famous father in his younger days.

Will has stayed out of the Hollywood spotlight. In recent years, he has been working on his education and starting to build a career in the sports news arena. Recently, however, he made a public appearance that brought him back into the spotlight.

Will's father, Christopher, brought his talent to the big screen as an actor, film director, producer, and screenwriter. He was also talented equestrian and activist. Christopher, however, was most known for his iconic role as Superman in 1978's Superman: The Movie. He even won the BAFTA award for Most Promising Male Newcomer for this performance.

His portrayal of Superman was so well received he went on to make three sequels: Superman II in 1980, Superman III in 1983, and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace in 1987. He also appeared in other films including The Remains of the Day and The Bostonians.

According to CBS, an accident in 1995 changed the course of Christopher's life. He was thrown from a horse and severely injured, leaving him a quadriplegic for the rest of his life. He was only 42 when it happened.

Christopher got around in a wheelchair, though he required a portable ventilator. His wife, Dana, became his constant companion. They focused their efforts on activism after the accident. To further their activism, they founded the Christopher Reeve Foundation, which was later renamed to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. They also help co-found the Reeve-Irvine Research Center. The couple's focus was on lobbying for stem cell research and on behalf of those afflicted with spinal cord injuries.
