On Monday, February 24th, Christian Aguilera assumed her position on stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the Kobe and Gianna Bryant Celebration of Life ceremony. The performance she delivered was emotional and powerful as she sang "Ave Maria."
Christina was backed by a string arrangement as she sang in Italian. The touching performance moved members of the audience, including Beyoncé, who was sitting after she kicked-off the event with her own performance of "XO" and "Halo."

Christina wore a fitted black suit jacket that had sleeves with lace-detailing along with wide-legged dress pants. Her voice echoed throughout the arena, which was Bryant's basketball home for almost 20 years while he played for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The arena was still as Aguilera resonated in the Staples Center and sang her own rendition of Franz Schubert's "Ave Maria" that was both timeless, but classically Christina. The delivery of her live vocals was impeccable.
We hope Kobe, Gianna, and the other victims rest in peace. What did you think of Christina Aguilera's performance? Did you watch the Kobe and Gianna memorial? Let us know what you think and pass this on to others so they can let us know what they think as well.
