Chip Gaines, now 45, posted a heartwarming video of his 1-year-old son, Crew, trying to pet a baby goat. The toddler tries to pet the adorable white kid, but whenever he gets close to the kid, the kid runs a few feet away, with Crew in hot pursuit.

What makes the video even funnier is that Gaines added subtitles of what he imagined his son might be saying as he tried to pet the baby goat, like "Hello friend, can I pet you?" After chasing the kid around until he was out of breath, Crew stopped to catch his breath and then promptly resumed the chase. "I love Crew's walk! He walks like a little man," one user wrote in the comments. The video ends with the baby goat finally letting the toddler pet it.

Chip Gaines is famous because he and his wife, Joanna, starred on the reality TV show "Fixer Upper." The couple has five children, and they purchase houses, fix them up, and then resell them for a profit, reports Country Living. Chip Gaines has also published two books, "Capital Gaines: Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff" and "The Magnolia Story."

Adult domestic goats range in size from 55 to 250 pounds, depending on the breed. Baby goats are called kids. They get up and walk immediately after birth. Kids drink goat's milk for about eight weeks before transitioning to eating vegetation, reports The Spruce.

Goats are notorious for eating pretty much anything and are used for brush-clearing; a herd of goats is turned loose on the property to clear, and they quickly eat everything that is growing. They are also notorious escape artists and their milk can be made into very tasty cheese.

If you think this video of a kid chasing a kid is heartwarming, why not discuss this story and the video with your friends? Everyone can use a good laugh.
