Cora Smith and Mairead Nesbitt are two award-winning violinists who have been taking the stage by storm everywhere that they go. When they play by themselves they are truly spectacular, but when they come together to play they simply raise the roof! Their recent performance on stage in London at Hyde Park proved that fact beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Mairead plays a combination of classical music and traditional Irish music. Not only has she received many awards during her career, but she has also been nominated for both an Emmy and a Grammy for her talent as a composer and artist.

Cora’s unique style is just as impressive as her partners. Many people may recognize her as one of the violinists who performed in “Lord of the Dance” with Michael Flatley. She has also won a Eurovision song contest with her amazing skills.

The venue was packed and ready for a great outdoor performance from the two women the day they were slated to appear. Both came out clutching their electric violins, ready to give them the performance they wanted! Mairead was dressed in a beautiful blue jumpsuit that shimmered as she walked about the stage. Her gorgeous blonde hair whipped around as she started to play.

Cora then chimed in with her violin from her position on the other side of the stage. Her own eye-catching blue dress sparkled in the sun as she combined her own musical talents. They started playing their song slowly, giving hints to the Celtic tune and each taking a quick solo part. However, as the tempo picked up, the two women began to play together. That is when the performance really became exciting! The two talented artists started to skip back and forth across the stage, battling out the upbeat Celtic tune fast and hard.

They both turned and danced around the stage, putting on a dramatic performance for their captivated and cheering audience. The audience clapped and cheered as the two showed off a routine that had obviously taken dozens of hours to get just right. The song itself was fast and furious, so you knew that it was difficult for the women to keep up with it as they danced along the stage. But they pulled it off perfectly! Are you ready to watch for yourself? Check it out below:
