Carlos Niera is 19 years old, and he's from Midland, Texas. He has down syndrome, but in that town, he is affectionately known by people as "Mr. Joyous".

They are used to seeing him happy, but now, he's an Internet superstar after a video of him getting up on stage celebrating his high school graduation with extreme excitement was captured and then shared with the world. The stadium cheered along with him and his fellow graduates. They couldn't help but do so as they saw him get his diploma. Even faculty members on stage jumped with joy for him as well.

The Midland Independent School District then posted the video on Facebook for all to see what he'd done as they told their followers about the graduation ceremonies that transpired. The caption that they included with the video was about how one of the greatest parts of graduation for them is getting to celebrate accomplishments of the students with them. While they were proud of all of the graduates and how they ended their four years at this Midland school, they definitely wanted to share a special grad with everyone, Carlos, and his dance across the stage when he got his diploma with those visiting their Facebook page.

Here, below, is the moment where Carlos steps on stage and really takes in the big day, his high school graduation. What an accomplishment achieved, especially for someone who has down syndrome and his parents who had to help him along the way.

The video was such a hit. It's gotten a lot of views so far. Pass this on to everyone you know so they can smile along with Carlos and all of the people that were there for him on his graduation day.
